is it possible

To increase milk supply when baby is 14 months old? My ds has some pretty bad food allergies and cannot even tolerate the elemental formulas. So I am still nursing him. I need to be able to pump so that I can leave him with sitters and what not. Right now if I pump i can barely get an ounce out in 20 min. IF i drink mothers milk tea and take fenugreek like crazy can i increase my supply??

Re: is it possible

I have had great success increasing my supply with the mother's milk blend on bulk herb store. It is WAY more economical then buying boxes of it at the store. Obviously not that same brand but it has worked for me when I was BFing
Organic Mama's Milk Tea

My LLL leader always says "if you can make milk, you can make more". Wouldnt hurt to try!

I agree you can make more; are you pumping every 3 hours during the day? If not, I would suggest that, and also add in a pumping sometime in the night. Be sure to pump for 10-15 minutes even if nothing is coming out!

My ds nurses every 3-3.5 hours during the day and 1-2 times a night. I should pump the side he doesn't nurse on right when he finishes?
