Aww, thanks Tim! That's actually a smocking pattern, and not a cable. A little fiddly to work the way I did it but kinda fun too. I love when knitting is fiddly but fun at the same time.

I bought Tera's "Vintage" fiber! I'm trying to see if I can pay her to spin it too.

An FO! Finally! Toddler sized longies with a 14 inch inseam.

I love all the WIPs and FOs, I'm especially digging the sets with the sewn tops and knit bottoms, it's so summery!! I've been doing a lot of dyeing in the evenings as well, having fun, a few successes, a few failures. Here's just the last couple weeks so I don't bore people

This is minnow all spun up, it'll be for a collab with Ashlea

This one makes me think of Cari's little Mieke, since it's a vibrant rainbow

This one is called "Wishing"

And OTN I'm just working on a sock before class each day, I'm doing Kai Mei pattern on one of my layered dyes:
beautiful as always mindy

coop colorways

This isn't all of it. just the colorways that were chosen

The 2 customs were

Sugared Tones

and Morning tones

I still have to reskein a few more skeins and then wait for the fiber to dye before I touch it. it's Merino Silk and so shiny!
I like the bottom one, it's kind of like the sushi themed ones but a little mellower? I like it better

but hey it was a book theme for that month.
Browns and greens are my favorites but I always worry they will end up too camo? I wear it at least 3 days a week though so it's a safe bet for socks I love the depth in this one though, it's more like a redwood forest to me.

I know, it worked up SOOO pretty!!! And I have to tell you, it was just SO soft and a pleasure to hook up! I am so spoiled I don't know if I can ever go back to patons or fishermans, lol! Thankfully my next project is purewool, so its a slow letdown

LOVE these, Tera!
I hadn't caught your name change, you are my due date twin!!

I love that pattern, it's just beautiful. I feel bad because I made Pi an afghan before he was born and still haven't done one for Pixie and she's 10 months old

I put 2 more braids in to dye tonight, one is still cooking, the other is done though and I really like it! I did a custom based off this picture http://pinterest.com/pin/149041068888515226/ and since it's supposed to be sunny and 80 tomorrow hopefully I'll have a pic to share tomorrow of it
