Re: Printer that takes cheap ink cartridge
I have this printers brother that connects to my computer.
http://www.officedepot.com/a/product...ochrome-Laser/ This printer is wireless and only prints in black. If you watch I got my printer for $54 dollars. So, if you are willing to wait you might find a great deal on it. |

Re: Printer that takes cheap ink cartridge
Get a laser printer! I bought a cheapy at Staples and print like a mad woman between recipes and homeschool. Then you only buy toner. It is more when you first buy it but WAY cheaper for lots of printer. Ink Jet sucks!

Re: Printer that takes cheap ink cartridge
OEM - that is, brand name - ink cartridges for most printers (for example, our HP 6130 Officejet and our Epson R300) are unbelievably priced (like $20-$30 per cartridge).
Just buy the generic refilled cartridges off eBay. You can get them from anywhere between $3 and $6 each, often including shipping! I always buy ink cartridges this way. Just type in the model # of the printer you're using and you'll get a ton of results. Buy from a reputable seller and you can't go wrong.

Don't like it. Printer itself is really great. But ink cost is pricy.

Re: Printer that takes cheap ink cartridge
You have to shop well for the generic cartridges. On eBay, read the description carefully. If they list YOUR model there as being guaranteed to accept the cartridge they are offering (and if they have lots of good feedback), buy it. If it doesn't work, they will refund you the money - generally without requiring you to ship it back. I'm speaking from a certain amount of experience. We have two printers and do quite a bit of printing.
