Re: Plans for the next one
We are done. DH will be getting snipped sometime in the near future. I am quite content with 2. Of course, I have hard pregnancies, so that may have something to do with my decision. Plus, financially, anymore would be really tough on us. So, I'm gonna count my blessings, cut my losses and love my 2 babies.

Re: Plans for the next one
For us, it will depend on a few things. Right now, things are tight and a little tough. But DH just got a new job this week
and he finds out soon how much more he'll be making. It could be anywhere from another $8K/year, to another $23/K per year !! I feel like 3.5 years was too far between kiddos, because it will be a long time before DS plays with DD. But it worked good for us financially, and emotionally. Now that we know what we're doing, it won't be so hard. I'm thinking of an 18-24 month gap this time. So we'll see. I go back to work part time next week, and then full time in a month. Hoping DH will make enough I can stay home or just work part time. I'm thinking of gender swaying to give DD a sister close in age, but IDK. With my luck they would just fight all the time. Swaying worked both times for us, although unintentional at the same time. DH really wants another boy, so I'm hoping we will be done with 4 sometime in the next few years. Ready to be done with pregnancies so I can work on my body and get my boob job I'm going to save up to get.

We are done. DH got snipped about halfway through this last pregnancy. (And then had a business trip for training that next week - nice planning on his part!) I have okay pregnancies and fast deliveries, but our family feels complete. Plus, my labor has been 1/2 the time of each previous labor (2.5 hours with DD, 1 hour 10 min with DS1, 35 min with DS2!), so I'm afraid of how fast a next labor would be!!!

Re: Plans for the next one
With having 2 girls and our boy I'm content right now. Our boy is a bit on the fussy side though so compared to the girls I'm having a bit of a rougher time with him right now so that doesn't help me with deciding. LOL I think I wouldn't mind one more in a few years. I'm 30 now (turning 31 in a month -_-) so we may have one more in 3-4 years before i turn 35....I don't want to push my luck with having a healthy pregnancy after 35. I don't have easy pregnancies as is (morning sickness, pre-ecclampsia, etc.) and just don't want to push that with other possibilities that increase at that age. I'm trying to decide on a BC method now but pills don't work for me and I'm not too keen on the Depo shot. Implanon makes me nervous for some reason. Mirena and the like are interesting but also make me nervous as I've heard stories of them tearing through vaginal walls and the like. So I just don't know what we'll do yet. A friend of mine teaches a form of family planning so I'm thinking about getting into one of her classes for the time being and if I think I can use it safely then I'll use it a year or so until I can use Nuvaring again without risking my milk supply. I wish there were more options for BC out there that don't interfere with milk supply -_-

Re: Plans for the next one
Congrats Andrea!!!
We are done. DH was planning to get snipped, but is now balking (trying to blame ME, saying women are so wishy washy I might change my mind. I think he is just a wuss.), but either way, we're done. I've even given away our newborn and maternity clothes already
