My DS is 9 months, 29" tall, 23 lbs and rear facing in a Complete Air LX.

You can look at a growth chart to try to predict their size.

Both my daughters have Britax Decathlons. My 5 yo dd is about 41 lbs and maybe 31 inches tall and my 8 yo dd is about 53 lbs and 34 inches tall? I haven't checked their heights in quite a while but have a well-child visit scheduled in a couple of weeks. My 8 yo has always been a tiny kid and my 5 yo is big so she's just behind her. People think they're twins if they're sitting down in a restaurant, lol. The Decathlons go up to 65 lbs and we really like them. Britax has awesome latch straps that are super easy to attach and remove, unlike a lot of other clip type latch straps.

Are they really only 31 and 34 inches tall?

To answer the OP, my DS is 2y9m, 32" tall, 21 lbs and is RF in a Evenflo Triumph Advance.

My ODS is 7yo 48" and 52 lbs and in a booster (don't shame me please)
DD 4yo 48lbs and 46" and in a high back booster
YDS is 26 months and 35lbs and 32" and FF in a eddie bower carseat.
