It is so scary. I went into full blown labor at 32 weeks, I was on mag sulfate- able to stop it. Went my water broke at 35 weeks and ds was born 6lbs 4.5 oz!! So amazing and he was healthy. You do your best to not stress

Re: 28 weeks, may have to deliver

I've had 2 preemies. If you do have her early and want to know the ins and outs of being a NICU baby mom, please feel free to e-mail or PM me at any time.

Just remember.... preemies look fragile, but these are the toughest people on Earth. So many tiny preemies grow up to be amazing folks - they can overcome these obstacles.

You're in my thoughts! Hang in there. Sending you loving energy.

Sending some love and prayers your way!

I have had two preemies, one at 29 weeks, and another at 23 weeks. My 29 weeker is now 13 months old, and is a happy chubby little guy. My 23 weeker is almost 8 weeks old, and still in the NICU. It is a scary process, and a lot to take in, but these babies are amazing and can handle so much more than we think. If you need anything, or just want to chat, feel free to send me a pm .

Thanks everyone. I'm just very scared. She's less than two pounds so very small for 28 weeks. It just all feels surreal....like I'll wake up at home and it's a dream.

It's gonna be a tough few months...

29 weeks today. Every day she can stay inside improves her chances, so this makes me happy

That's great that she's made it another week! Stay in side baby girl!

My best friend had her water break and delivered twins at 28 weeks. It was scary, we were all petrified, but they pulled through just fine and they're now 7 years old and you'd never know they were such tiny preemies. I hope you get spared some of the heartache that they went through, but I thought you should know that other tiny 28 weekers make it just fine. And they were boys, who statistically don't do as well as little girls as preemies.

Re: Updated: our little 29 week miracle

Glad to hear she's doing well. And just shy of 2 pounds, that's excellent!
