potty training and carseats

I know not to use anything thick in the seat but what about sewing a layer of PUL onto a prefold and laying that in the seat in case of accidents?Would that be safe or not?

Re: potty training and carseats

I never took the time to sew any PUL onto it, but I did do the PF under the butt for short trips. with my daughter I also tried to have her wear skirts or dresses, that way you only have to change panties, not the outfit as well.

Yeah that's fine just make sure it doesn't interfere with the harness or buckle in any way.
