Re: Sit n stand thoughts?
I have a Sit and Stand that we got for cheap at a rummage. It is hard to steer at times...but does the job. I don't/didn't have a lot of $ to spend, so works fine for the little we use it. Mainly wear baby, but had 3, 3 and under, so worked great! Hope you find something that works.

I had the sit n stand and hated it! So I sold it and bought a joovy ultralight and love it! I got rid of it now because my kids are to old for strollers. I would recommend the joovy. It's easy to turn.

Re: Sit n stand thoughts?
I have had the Joovy Ultralight and the steering is pretty bad with heavier kids. I've also tried the baby jogger city select and vista w/ rumbleseat,IMO a side by side all terrain gives the best push. I have a mountain buggy duo but the indie twin is another great option. I have a 45lber and 37lber and they push one handed. It is a life saver.

Re: Sit n stand thoughts?
I have a sit and stand, and used it with both a 4 year old and a new baby, and also use it with my 3 year old and almost 9 month old. It does get heavy and is hard to push but does work. My 6 year old got on it last year so they do fit, its just gets really heavy. I refer to it as my tank lol

I have a sit n stand that I use with my small 2 ur old dd and various aged (all still under 2) foster kids. I hate it! I finally bought a regular double stroller. The sit n stand is too long and hard to get in and out of stores. Plus my 2 yr old is able to just take off whenever she wants! Also it faces the babies in car seats toward her and she can't resist poking or bothering then the whole time.

Re: Sit n stand thoughts?
Some friends of mine have a Sit n' Stand that they never use because, and I'm quoting the dad, "it's like trying to drive a battleship". Made me very glad that I bought a Contours Tandem Stroller. Really easy to push and turn. That sucker turns on a dime, I love it! At the time it was the only double stroller that a Chicco carseat would work with. Very easy to configure either seat front or rear facing, it folds so compact that I can fit it in the trunk of our Prius, and it has attached buckles to strap everything in so we didn't have to worry when we flew with it. I'd recc it to anyone and I'd buy it all over again.

Re: Sit n stand thoughts?
How far are you going? I would just slow down if need be and let the older kids walk unless you are doing some serious walking. I walk A LOT and have all my kids or daycare kids walk the whole time at about 18 months, sometimes sooner. My 4 and 2 year old could easily do a couple hours without tiring. I am not saying this to sound judgey or anything but at this age, I would not even buy a stroller period. I would back carry the littlest or get a single stroller (which is what I do for my 12 month old) and make all the big kids walk. My kids do the amusement parks and zoos with no strollers so maybe you should try that and save the money? The more you walk, the farther you go, the more your kids will get used to it. And if they are tired near the end, thats okay. Just slow down for the littlest and keep going.
I have tried several double strollers and have not found one that was not annoying in some way....bulky, hard to steer, etc. I just quit trying to find one and make all the kids walk, problem solved. |

That's what we have and love!! I like how the little seat has a 3 pt harness, my kids think its the coolest, but the seats v(not plank) are only rated for 45 and 50#s. the parent organizer pops off if the bigger kid needs more room to stand(bonus) We bought it for my wild toddler and baby on the way, so we've only tried it out a handful of times, but no complaints yet.
