3 across in a mazda protege?
Am I crazy to think we can get three car seats in the back of my little 2002 protege? We have a Radian (though I hate it) and I was thinking the twins could go in two key fits. I really like my small car. I have crappy vision with almost no depth perception so I need a car that even I can park. Will I be able to get the middle baby out? I was thinking I would put DD (she'll be 5) FF behind the driver and put one baby in the middle and the other behind the passenger. My DH is 6'4" so I don't think I could put a RF seat behind him with the stall the way back.

It doesn't hurt to try. Can you get to a babies r us where they would let you try the seats in the car?

Re: 3 across in a mazda protege?
congrats on the twins
I think that would be really tough especially w/ 2 infant carriers side by side. Maybe a radian in the middle with a Combi Corocco on either side for the twins? You might have to break down and dare I say. buy a van(shutter). I swore I would never drive one buy once I ditched my suburban and got a van I love it and it isn't that much bigger than a car. I am not an infant seat kinda girl but with twins you might have to.

Re: 3 across in a mazda protege?
I have no clue about a mazda, but I've gotten two buckets and a radian in both my saturn, my focus, and a honda fit I was test driving.

Re: 3 across in a mazda protege?
It really depends on the shape of the back seat, in my experience. I wouldn't rule it out entirely.
