she was with me at my moms and we were in her backyard and she went to play with the little coupe car and started screaming so I ran over there and she had two red holes on her scalp at first I was thinking snake so my mom went over there to see if she could see it and they attacked her both her and by dd got stung twice poor girls

so far shes ok it was over an hour ago do you think the timeframe for a bad reaction has passed she's tired so is mama but id hate to put her down and her have an allergic reaction (though neither I or dh is allergic this is her first sting and you never know)

Dd got stung and within 3 min her whole arm turned red and a golf ball size welt appeared I think reactions happen pretty quickly. I did get stung once by a wasp and had flu symptoms after I was probably 8 though so I could be remembering wrong. Bad reactions tend to hit fast. Mhope she is doing good now

Aww. I don't know how old she is, but when my daughter got stung at 2 she talked about it constantly. She still mentions it now and then and when she sees the handicapped ramp at daddy's work (where she was stung) she gives me a knowing look, two years later. Poor girl.

My son was chasing and yelling at a wasp, trying to swat it with his light saber. Of course it turned around and stung him right on the face! It got him just underneath his eye. He screamed hysterically for about 5 minutes and sobbed for another 5 after that. His face was a bit swollen and red but allergic reactions happen quickly, so I wasn't worried.

I think your girl's ok. Poor baby, though! I hate bees and wasps sometimes!

(For the record, my son said he was trying to "show the red bee who's boss" and that's why he was harassing it )
