Re: WTF!!
Quote:
Our younger one we did more with the co-sleeping. DH was around those months and was able to help her get back to sleep. He slept in the big bed and she slept on the crib mattress (both mattresses were on the floor) and if she got up, he either patted her on the butt or bounced her on the exercise ball if he needed to. That helped. We finally did sleep training with her at around 18 months when she stopped going down for naps even with nursing and because she was missing naps, she was sleeping even worse. That worked pretty well. It meant moving her to the pack and play but she sleeps much better now and I'm able to get her on more of a sleep schedule. She also doesn't wake up during the night like she used to. You may have to figure something else out with the sleeping though. This is not the easiest age for little ones. It sucks though, I know, because the lack of sleep gets to you. I can't sleep with my kids below a certain age because I have so many sleep issues myself. DH at least can get back to sleep in two seconds so it was always easier for him to sleep with the kids.

mama. DS3 will be 9 months old this week, and still wakes up every 2 hours to nurse. It sucks, especially when I have my other two kids who wake up once per night, and I'm pregnant. But it will get better! DS1 was the same way, and started sleeping better around 15-16 months.
