seat higher up or lower down?

they are suppose to be lower right?
im not sure i understand why???....
can someone let me know...

probably a stupid question but i feel i need to know the answer

mamas have said its better when the car seat (at least rear facing) sits lower...vs. a seat that like the base is taller, seat/kid sitting higher up.
i dont understand why that is...kwim?

I've not heard that. As long as a seat is installed properly and used correctly I would say they're equally safe.

From a ease of use point of view a lower seat it better. My son can climb in his radian were if it were higher up I'd have to lift him in it.

They all pass the same tests.

I prefer one that sits up higher so kiddo can see out and be occupied instead of fussing.
