I'd say a ribbed one would have kept it from rolling.

Well, I was going with the headband pattern that's in the candy girl dress pattern and I ASSumed since it had stockinette instructions that it would've said do the edges in garter or something if it was going to be loose enough to roll up.
Im trying to figure out if I can add a big button down flower that will keep the part on top from rolling. I don't think I have enough yarn to do it again and I've already cut the ends and threaded them in.

I've made this one:

It had a kpk or k2p2k2 or something like that at the ends to have it lay flat. It was knit flat then joins with a button.

Maybe you could pick up stitches on the egdes and a do a quick ribbed edge? Sorry, its frustrating to BO and realize your FO isn't behaving

I just dyed yarn for the past 5 hours - I'm beat! My back is aching, my feet are sore, my legs are tired, but I'm thrilled with the results! Dyeing yarn is so much fun! The only part I don't care for that much is the reskeining part. But it's gotta be done, so I do it anyways! I'm going to get another swift to make it a little easier. DH helped me make skeins out of my Cestari SF today - we got 8 skeins plus 2.9oz trim skein out of a 2lb cone - I thought that was pretty good. If anyone wants any Cestari superfine, let me know!

sorry Em was sick..ewee. Erica..that baby sweater is easy to find for free..I see lots of them..the stitched band looks similiar to bamboo sts as well.

I would get the saffron over the other..I didn't like the sleeves on the top.

I am going to make older DS a pair of night shorites..he needs them. The two pair that he has are so stretched out and thinned...figures the knitters kid has crap to wear I am going to use some navy BBR and maybe some MM unexpected rainbow for trim. I haven't knit BBR before other than a scrap..I'll see how I like it.
