Re: Weekly chat April 23rd
I usually do all of the grocery shopping so I get what I want. If my dh goes even to pick up something we are out of he always ends up bringing home junk food. Last time I sent him for milk and cottage cheese. He came home with chips, muffins, cookies, and a whole bunch of other junk. The trip should have taken no more than 15 minutes he was gone for 45 as I waited to finish dinner. He refuses to get anything organic even if I specifically say to get it. He has come home on 2 occasions with something organic and I was pleasantly surprised.

Re: Weekly chat April 23rd
I am the junk food buyer in my house.
But DH has a rich tastes on a poverty budget. I am always putting expensive and exotic ingredients back on the shelf when he is with me. Friday I had just a tiny amount of money to buy ingredients for the weekend and he was trying to buy this expensive block of cheese ($10 for a few ounces). Sorry, we can't spend almost half the budget on one ingredient!

Its nice to know my dh isnt the only grocery challenged out there! He offered to go today (we are out if food but i dont have time) and i said no thanks ![]() I have 2 wks left before graduation and I could possibly get a B. this has been the hardest class if my life. I am hoping for a B but will absolutely not beat myself up if it turns out to be a C. That just means I would have to pick up another class to bump my gpa before applying to grad school. Not the end of the world. Honestly though at this point i dont even know when ill go back to school. This past semester has really brought me into intimate awareness of my weakness. I can only handle so much. I just want to take care if my family and myself for awhile. Its good to have a dream but working towards it can be a long process. Im glad to know what I want to do some day when the kids are older so im not sitting around in my too quiet and too clean house feeling like my life has no purpose. I cant imagine how awful an empty nest would be in a situation like that. So im grateful to have one step almost accomplished (as isaiah kicks me hard in the bladder!!).

DH and I grocery shop together. I always pick out only the essentials and he gets the extras. It works because he eats them in his lunches at work.
I have felt miserable all day. Potty training is taking all of my energy. Of course DH was home today and felt the need to change my method. Yeah no thanks. Tomorrow is speech for DS and if Benjamin doesnt start allowing me to breathe I may have to sleep sitting up. He is either in my ribs or on my pelvis. Has anyone else started waddling yet?? There have been a few days where he has been so low that it's painful and I waddle lol. Yay.....

Thats cute tht you guys g shop together. We enjoy doing that when we can. Ive actually slept a couple nights sitting up. Im pretty short so the pressing of the lungs starts early (im 5 4"). I dk if its bc this is my 3rd preg or what, but this little guys seems so much more active than the other 2! Potty training is a lot of work! Hopefully it wont take too long. Dd still has accidents when she is immersed in play. Shes funny bc she always wants me to go when she goes! I sit in the big potty and she gets on her little potty and we talk! Lol. Even at such a young age girls want to gi together

Re: Weekly chat April 23rd
I've already slept sitting up a few nights too in the new recliner. I know you aren't supposed to recline according to spinning babies but if it's the only way I can sleep I'll take it for now.
I have had a very lazy day and I am not ashamed about it at all. We skipped church because I didn't get to sleep until almost 5am. I was just too exhausted so I slept in and my oldest (who is redeeming herself from a fit she threw yesterday) got everyone up and fed and played with them until I got out of bed. Then we watched movies and just chilled. The baby (who we thought was named and have now gone back to square one) also has either been in my ribs or in my pelvis, she just can't make up her mind! They already tell me she's long for her gestation so I don't even want to know what month 9 is going to be like. ugh. Today is my hubby's birthday! I miss him so much!

DH restarts his Masters in counseling Thursday. Hopefully it will give him something to do other than watch martial arts movies on netflix When he and his first wife divorced he dropped out of school. He lacked 2 classes but all his credits have expired. The school he is going to now is being generous and giving him some credit anyway. I haven't bought his books yet and the school doesn't give the option of adding them to your account like mine does. Used, on Amazon, they will be only $70. They will be marked up and well-worn, but who cares!Quote:
![]() Today I made buttermilk biscuits for brunch, washed all the piled up dishes, mopped, hung out clothes, finished (finally) my final paper for my class that ended last week, took a nap, cooked dinner, washed more laundry, helped DS clean up his room. I am exhausted!!!

Re: Weekly chat April 23rd
I *hate* grocery shopping when I'm pregnant- *hate* it. I'm thankful that we have the provisions so I CAN go grocery shopping, but I dislike the job when I'm pregnant. It's just exhausting and I feel like with all the options I kind of go on sensory overload. I'm not like that when I'm not pregnant though. I do not send dh though. When I go, I make a list of everything I'm going to buy for the week for meals, snacks, etc. If I send him I would have to right the brand (or nonbrand) of each item, what isle number to find it out, top or bottom of the shelf lol He has a hard time finding things in general, no less shopping. He WOULD though, if I asked him to go. I wish we could go shopping together
but grocery shopping with 4 kids is not very fun at this point
