Yes! I agree that I can make him a pile of similar diapers.

Re: Best Dad system

The BG looks like a slim and trim looking diaper, also. Is this the case?

Re: Best Dad system

What about Kawaii? 12 diapers for $69.90 sounds like a pretty good way to go?

I did not give DH a choice. I just showed him what we were using (Workhorse fitteds with snaps and wool covers), and told him how and that was it.

No, they are not super trim. The BGE's are super trim but are not a super easy AIO because they only come in snaps.

Honestly, if I had to do my daddy/daycare stash all over again, I'd just go with either all Blueberry or Bumgenius pockets. The thing about pockets that you also need to know is that they rarely leak, whereas, AIO's are not as trustworthy. There are a couple AIO's that are pretty trustworthy, but aren't as "easy either.

As far as your other comment about cheap diapers, you get what you pay for. Some ladies love their Kawaii's, Alva's and Sunbabies but there are reasons why they are cheap other than the fact that they are mass producted in china. I'd go with used BG or Blueberry if I were you to keep the cost down. Careful on the BG velcro, it's not so good and gets old fast... use the laundry tabs faithfully when washing.

BG's aren't very trim, but they are bulletproof (which is good for a daddy or grandma that doesn't remember how long it has been since LO has been changed). How often do you think your SO will change a diaper? That would make a difference to what I would get for him. DH only changes DD about 2 times a week. So a BG with velcro is fine because washing that often isn't going to wear the velcro too much.
