Re: Best Dad system

My husband preferred pre-stuffed pockets like fuzzy bunz . . . He said the velcro diapers didn't feel as secure as the snaps.

Re: Best Dad system

I am trying to figure out how to teach SO to put on a diaper. He seems to think cloth is about a billion times more difficult - he keeps putting the diapers on backwards. I don't have much aplix, but even when he uses it he hooks it in the back, and I'm not sure why.

It is causing red rashes from too much fabric inbetween the front of DD's legs because the diapers are just made to be bigger on the butt than in the front.

not to hijack this thread, but any of you ladies have this problem or know how to cure it?

I have a package of earth's best diapers that fit her but we haven't used any sposies in over a month and they do tend to break her out since she has sensitive skin. SO is all for the saving money with cloth (what he doesn't know about how much I spend won't hurt him, lol) but he just can't seem to grasp how to put one on. I don't know if he's just ditzy or what! (and I'm the breadwinner of our family, he is a stay at home papa)

Can you put a mark on either the front or back of the diaper so he will know which way it goes? Sometimes it takes something really obvious.

My husbands favorites are bg 4.0, rumparooz and tots bots. As long as they have the velcro he has no problems. I prefer when he uses the tots bots because he will not take out the insert and I end up having to do it when doing the laundry.

So a BG with velcro is fine because washing that often isn't going to wear the velcro too much.
Good point on the velcro.

Side note... I just don't understand how men cannot notice if a diaper is on backwards! I just asked my husband if he could put any diaper we own on our son and feel confident it's on right and he said... yeah... I guess so, but I did put one on backwards once when you weren't here!

Ditto. But I made it harder on him and got snapless and snappis vs. snap WHs. He doesn't think it's hard He also helps me wrangle DS down and pin him in his Sbish snapless at night. For covers he chooses our pull on interlock OB knit soakers. I think all the snaps on our LB wraps would confuse him.

Re: Best Dad system

I second the tots bots easy fits! Those were the first cd I ever purchased and we love them! I have 10 of them and I save them for him for when he changes our babe. I also love that the insert agitates out in the wash! I prestuff them so all he has to do is put it on and remember to use the laundry tabs when he changes her. They are AWESOME diapers!
