Re: Weekly Chat 4/23 - 4/30
Congrats on your baby girl! I went through the same thing when my second ds was born. My oldest was born in July and second was January. I'm all for a good excuse for shopping, lol. This baby girl will be half and half for us. Dd was born in May, so some seasonal stuff will work, some not.

sad about none of the clothes working for the season! not so sad really though if you get to go shopping
![]() if this one had been a boy we would have been able to stretch out our boys clothes since we have such long summers and it rarely gets very cold anyway, DS was born in December but besides sleepers didn't really have a ton of wintery clothes, lots of summer stuff though!

Re: Weekly Chat 4/23 - 4/30
We have our scan two weeks from today. I just want to hear the word, "healthy!" I'm getting pretty nervous about it, but we're heading to the beach the next week, where I'll be heading to the outlets after sticking my toes in the sand. My mom is a shopaholic, so I hope it's another boy for my dad's sake!
I'll feel like it's a girl for a few days, then I'll feel that it's a boy for a few days. I just don't have good intuition about these things since I thought our son was a girl until the scan!

Oh, I'm the teacher! I look forward to end of school just as much as my students!
![]() I have boy instincts, but who knows? It really doesn't matter since I already have one of each and this will be the last one. Still on the fence about team green or not. I have a week to decide. Congrats to all of those who have found out. Exciting times!

Re: Weekly Chat 4/23 - 4/30
We get our big ultrasound in a week, and I am abandoning team green. I want to know, LOL.
It's been a busy week for us with Dh and my birthdays, a wedding, etc. I am so glad that everything is done though. Now I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for A) THE BUMP (oh yes, 19.5 weeks and still not looking pregnant...) and B) the big ultrasound. But otherwise, it's all good. I got some good news about a friend who got a BFP today after a year of trying. She went gluten free in February, her cycles regulated, and now she's getting her baby! Coffee coffee coffee...

Re: Weekly Chat 4/23 - 4/30
Hi ladies! So exciting to see everyone's recent ultrasounds! Six days till ours!!
Gosh, I feel like such a terror lately. No matter if I have a day that is "good" or "bad" I am grouchy and sad inside. Sometimes it comes out and I have a little cry, but there is never any real good reason. This is one of my least favorite parts of pregnancy, the 9 months of PMS!! I cut at least 6 inches off my hair a few days ago, so it's shoulder length instead of down to my boobs. DH or my daughter didn't even notice, I feel pathetic. I guess I just wanted to be noticed a little, you know? I told him tonight that I cut my hair and he says my hair is always all over so how is he supposed to notice? Gee, thanks, that just makes me feel lots better about how I look. Time for me to get to bed, a lot to do tomorrow.

I SO know what you mean about the bump. I'm 21 weeks today and only look pregnant at night after a big meal. Then it's practically gone in the morning. I did wear a sweater to church that was an empire waist and it made me look a bit more pregnant vs. fluffy. Can't wait to find out if it's a girl or a boy! Quote:
Honey. I know just what you mean. A few nights ago I completely lost it with DH. He got mad, stormed out of the room, but then I followed him and told him that he needed to work WITH me and not against me. I then proceeded to bawl for an hour. Sweet man, in the morning he asked how much was real and how much was hormones! I told him that the issues were real, but not as big of a deal as I was making out. And that emotional storm cleared the air. I'd love to see a picture of your new haircut. 6" is a ton! Sometimes I think that guys have no idea how much we value their appreciation of us. again - and less than a week until you find out!! AFM: Found some awfully cute nb woolies: http://hyenacart.com/SpotsCorner/st/...Neutral-Romper http://hyenacart.com/SpotsCorner/st/...Forrest-Romper Seriously considering the first, but really really really need to use the yarn I have before buying something else. Right? Right? Someone else buy this and end my torture!

Re: Weekly Chat 4/23 - 4/30
I must have enough bump for everybody, I keep getting told how huge I am.
I've only gained 8 lbs, so maybe it's just a big baby. We cleaned out the garage and moved all the baby stuff into the nursery today . I can't wait to go through all the clothes and see what we need after our scan this Wednesday. DD's bday and the due date are only ten days apart, but even if it's another girl all her winter clothes will be worthless here I'm afraid. We didn't really have winter here last year, and the year before that it didn't get cold until after Christmas.
