Cotton batting?? Unbleached PELLON

Have like 3yds of 100% cotton batting. Would anyone suggest against using this for soaker layer for fitted pattern using regular knit or flannel for the rest of the diaper? This will be my 1 st attempt at AIO.

Also... I have 2 yds zorb2 I was planning on making (inserts) for use with my flips n thirstiest wraps. Would it be a bad idea to put a layer of this Between 2 layers zorb2??

I have kam snap set.

I wouldn't put batting into a diaper; I think it would disintegrate or get lumpy and eventually not feel very nice.

Cotton batting will work but you need to layer it between other absorbant fabrics (cotton, bamboo, hemp) layers and quilt it. I made some doublets once with cotton batting amd flannel and they worked good. I wouldnt put it between the zorb thoigh, I would think that would be way too thick and with compression, Im not sure it would work too well.
