Baby dropping?

So I'm 35 weeks tomorrow, and at my last appt, my mw told me not to worry if my baby didn't drop right away since 2nd babies usually don't drop until right before labor. well, she dropped! And she's playing the bongos on all my squishy organs down there!

Anybody else? And if this is not your first kid, have you heard that about not dropping right away?

I have heard that too! I am actually pregnant with my 4th. I actually feel her really low too, but also pretty high up as well. The pressure down below has indeed increased. I am currently 37 weeks and and 3 days.

Re: Baby dropping?

I have no idea! LOL! Never could figure out if I ever dropped or not with any of my kids. I just looked at a picture of me ready to go to the hospital with my first baby. I look the exact same as I do right now. So maybe I don't drop until in labor?

36w3d here, and it feels like the whole top of my bump is made out of baby bum. Sometimes I think she may be a little bit lower, but there has definitely not been some huge drop.

Chiro appt is tomorrow, though. She usually moves after I get adjusted.

Levi is pretty low, but I seem to carry low anyway.. I actually can feel the hardness of his head if I check the position of my cervix.

This for me too, and his head feels pretty solid in there. I see the MW tomorrow so I will find out for sure if our little guy has actually dropped. But I feel him very low, it sends shooting pains down the upper parts of my thighs when I walk sometimes. I feel like my MW doesn't think he's actually dropped since this is my 3rd preg. and she says the same as OP's MW, that after the first they don't tend to drop till labor starts.
