We're the same (well not quite, your plans and out-going cost are much more than ours), so much stuff we want to do but we're having to do it really really slowly.

I feel bad because this money could be used for a holiday or something but we really need to do this to make the flat work better for us.

Busy this morning. I got the kids up and ready. They had first lesson this morning and that means getting them out really early.

I've ironed my shirts, got some rice porridge cooking and now I'm watching How I met your mother and putting away the clean diapers.

Janine that is not the quilt I made. Mine is all pastels this is blue and white. I don't love this one in the room but it is clean and nice and soft for Mel. The blue and lavender clash a bit but are fine for now.

MH really wants a pink blanket and pink curtains.

Morning mamas!

Yeah, Janine, it is a lot of work isn't it. I hate spending the money that we could use on other things, and I'm not used to spending this amount on a house. But it's one of those things if we resell, we get a much larger return on our investment because they expect the houses here to have more expensive finishes. And since we haven't lived in a place more than four years in the entire almost 14 years we've been married, resale always has to factor in. It's just unfortunate we have to replace other things too, like the falling apart dining set, etc and now DH is lobbying to replace the couch too because it's all torn up. I see piles of money being spent instead of new things, LOL.

How girly pink curtains Jen? Because I may have some bright pink tulle super girly ones...maybe. I think some managed to make it up here to MI when the movers packed our pile of stuff to go to charity. Absolutely no light control but they are pretty. I will check the next trip to the big house, I'm almost positive Rose said she saw some stuck in with the winter blankets. They won't work for her room because she needs light control and she already has too many over the top stuff things in her room, LOL.

My 3-1 brownie maker just got here so I think I'm going to make muffins in it. It has a recipe for that. They are then muffin bars without paper. Saves on the cases and they are easier to freeze too.

I hope Fynn likes them. I'm still searching for food he'll eat.

Cami and Fynn are in the Garden with Opa, S&D are doing their homework.

morning all. LAst night was a bit better although he wouldn't go back to sleep bt 130 and 3 then i gave up and let him sleep on top of me while i sat up on the couch. BUt he slept that way until 7 am so i guess i can't complain

Janine what is a 3 in 1 brownie maker? I really want to make some beef veggie barley soup today but i am trying to lay low. I feel really good probably the most pain free after birth experience thus far except my arm since i got a pertussis vaccine but i dotn want to do too much then regret it next week. Maybe i will make the soup tomorrow
