I think bob only wears his ring when he leaves the house. I feel like Cheryl I just had tonpay for my new roof

I don't know that I would notice if Raj ever took his ring off. I've taken mine off maybe 5 times (because of handling chemicals) and he notices in two seconds.

Does he ever take his off?

Kari, that is the reason we did not renovate the bathrooms yet. We need a new roof too, but I want to see if we can eek another couple years out of it because I'd rather get new bathrooms.

Well my dad is in the roofing business. He checked out our roof last fall and said we need to replace. However it was such a mild winter that we could most likely squeak by another year. But we have the $ so we may as well do it now and we got a great deal. The company my dad works for sold us the materials at cost and we got a dumpster at cost. We are also getting their workers on a Saturday so I pay them cash not their normal rate. Essentially I am getting an 8 grand roof for about 4500. Gotta love dads!

See, there are a ton of other things that need to be done, but not until the roof is done. The gutters are purely decorative at this point, but they can't be replaced until the roof is done. The drainage stuff needs to be rerouted and redone, not until the gutters are done. The exterior needs a paint job, but not until the gutters are done. All the flower beds need to be planted with, well ANYTHING, but until the gutters are replaced anything put there would wash away. So when I say the roof needs to be redone, I mean the entire exterior of the house needs to be redone really. It looks okay from the street but not stellar.

:yum: DH brought me Subway. And is going to exchange the fluorescent bulbs I bought and put them in the newly installed kitchen fixtures. Apparently they come in two flavors now (T8 and T12), and I bought the wrong one. I have been buying shop lights for years and never ever had to check for a different kind of bulb.

Geez louise I would love a deal like that Kari. I don't even want to think about what it would take to do our barn style roof. Ugh.

I love my new hair. Love it. It was way expensive so I won't be able to keep it up unless I get a job, but I love it.

And Janine, I would tell the kids they can get the cat. Since Heiner didn't pay for the trip, you have money for it.

at DH, calling from hardware store trying to verify with ME that he is getting the right stuff. Send the man to get maxipads with wings, etc and he has no issues, send him to the hardware store he is out of his element.
