Kari, that is the reason we did not renovate the bathrooms yet. We need a new roof too, but I want to see if we can eek another couple years out of it because I'd rather get new bathrooms.
He never takes it off. He's made a point of telling me it's important to him that I wear my ring (that I'm 30kg too heavy to wear it for more than a couple of a hours is ok though and he's not cross about that. He will expect me to wear it full time when it fits me properly) and it's important to him to wear his.

I asked him....he told me this in this order: I haven't cheated on you, I dont have anyone else, I'm not looking to find anyone else, and that his hands were swollen and it was a bit too tight so he took it off.

And Janine, I would tell the kids they can get the cat. Since Heiner didn't pay for the trip, you have money for it.
I cant do that....although I would love to, I cant. That's not fair. Shannon kept saying it's 5 against 1 so we should get the cat.

I tried to explain it to her by saying "Think about it in a different way. If I make dinner every single day for the rest of our lives with cheese 5 of us will be happy and 1 of us will be very sad...should I do that? Would it be ok for Derry to be miserable?"

She agreed, it wouldn't be fair and went to school a bit calmer about it.

I decided that I'd get them a hamster instead and that that's what I did today. I went out and got a hamster cage (they will only fight and argue and be disappointed if I take them to the shop to choose the cage and get the hamster so I went alone) and and a sweet little white hamster. She's just so cute!

Sorry to barge in here (I wasn't spying, I promise - I could see the lines on my mobile app) but my dh just took his ring off yesterday because it is too tight and hurting him. I didn't care, but I used to not be able to wear my ring at work, so maybe that desensitized me a little. Ok, I'll leave you sweet ladies in peace now!

I don't wanna get up.....

I don't know what to say on the ring. Jerry doesn't wear one. I take mine off whenever it annoys me.

Are you confident and OK with his response.

Cute hamster. What do the kids think?

I'm ok with it. I dont really think he's stupid enough to try anything like getting someone else and I've not worn my ring in years and no one tries anything with me. I think it's ok to not wear a ring. It just seemed really odd to me because he does make a big deal about wearing his and he didn't mention it.

The kids are really excited about the hamster. They girls saw the little video I posted on FB and the photos. They are a little disappointed that she's sleeping now but know it's time for homework so it's better that she's sleeping. Fynn doesn't know anything about the hamster yet.

I think what made it more weird to me was the ring being in the coin section of his wallet. Usually if he's going to take it off for any reason he'll put it on the shelf in the living room and it's visible. It was it being in his wallet that made me think.

Morning mamas. Ginger is in rare form today. I am really hoping I don't wind up in the principal's office. I've already told her she will lose computer for a week if she gets in ANY sort of trouble at school. Why do I just *know* I will get that call while at the grocery store, and I will *have* to be the bad guy. Ugh.

Janine, do you think he did it to see if you would notice?

I'm tired and pissy now. The house is a pit, and we are nearly out of all perishable food. Gah.

I had wondered about that.....and made a point of telling him I only noticed because I needed to find a 1 for Derry's tooth.

Sorry about the rough morning.
