Anyone else usally deliver early and now past that time? UPDATE - Still waiting!!!

Update --
I am STILL waiting. I am now officially 39 weeks. I had my membranes swept at 38 and 5 - I guess it didn't work. There are SO many Dr's in the office I see that I don't feel attached to any one person but the new Dr I had this week said they will induce around 10 days late. I changed days for next week hoping that I can see someone I've at least met once before to see if they all agree. My POOR kids - my older ones are HS and they haven't had spring break yet!!! I thought baby would be here already and they would have time off then. Everyone is getting antsy.

This is baby #5.

I have a 37 and 0
A 38 and 4
Another 38 and 4
A 37 and 3

I am now 38 and 5 and still no signs AT ALL that baby is going to arrive.

I am having a VERY hard time dealing with "still" being pregnant. My stomach muscles are all torn, I have horrid heart burn, I am swollen like a balloon and super itchy. I had 16 hours of contractions in my 36th week and last week at 37 and 3 I was 21/2 minutes apart. TMI I lost my plug like 3 weeks ago. AND yet still no baby.

It's 3:30 am and I can't sleep...again. I am just so done. I thought for sure DD would be early just like our other kids. Even the Dr thought she would be here like 2 weeks ago.

Anyone else going through this too? I mean I am technically not "late" but it sure feels like it!

i'm sorry you're frustrated and uncomfortable! Its easy to compare previous pregnancies and expect things to be the same.

I've always been overdue (like way late, 42 and 43 weeks) so I feel like if labor started before then I'd be "early"!

ABSOLUTLY!!!!!
My first was 32 weeks
second was 37 weeks
third was 37 weeks 1 day
This one is today at 39 weeks 1 day. I am going in for a c/s at 10. Nobody thought I would be pg this long. Not even me.
The only positive thing I can see know is that our baby will be healthy and strong.

My first was 33wks 2days and now I'm 39 and 1. I am not used to being this pregnant. My mom had both me and my sister 9 days early and I figured I'd be the same. I've just accepted that I'll be pregnant for another 3 weeks (they won't let me go past 42) so that way I'll be pleasantly surprised if it happens earlier.... or at least I'm trying to think that way.

My first was born right at 38 weeks but my 2nd was 40+4 days. I don't expect this one to come anytime soon and I'm 38 weeks today.

I was induced with my first on my due date. My second I was 40 weeks and 4 days, so I'm planning on going to at least 40 weeks with this one. Of course what makes that complicated is that as of today I'm 39 weeks 2 days by the pill pack due date and only 37 by the ultrasound. I didn't have my first ultrasound till I was 20 weeks by the pill pack, so they wouldn't actually change my due date. At my appt today my doctor told me that if I don't have her by 41 1/2 weeks that she'll induce me before I'm 42 weeks by the pill pack.

I'm dreading the thought of that happening. My first was 28 weeks and my 2nd and 3rd were both 37w3d and I'm scared now this one will be later. Despite theses contractions and cramps and poops. Grrrr!! I'll be one unhappy person if this continues for weeks.

Re: Anyone else usally deliver early and now past that time and still waiting?

DS#!: 38 weeks
DS#2: 37 weeks
DS#3 36 weeks 3 days.

I'm currently 37 weeks and still pregnant. I just assumed (as did my doctor) that this baby would come early like DS#3 too. But here I sit... still pregnant. I'm glad on one hand because he's cooking and getting even more healthy... but on the flip side... I'M SO READY!!! lol
