Which one do you use??
So for all you natural detergent users/mamas out there. Which one do you use and what's your water condition and type of washer? :-) Wanting really hard for a natural detergent to work on my diapers. I HATE using regular ones and hate hate bleach. I don't like to use bleach products in my house for cleaning so I definitely don't like using it against my little boy's bums. Thanks mamas!!

Country Save. I've tried dozens of others, natural and not. It's worked for me in the following :
Top loader using very hard well water. Top loader in laundromat, where I had to skip either the prewash or the extra rinse. Front loader with small capacity, soft city water. Top loader with weird water (high in gypsum so it behaved like both hard and soft water: Tide both failed to clean and wouldn't rinse out). Miniature portable Haier washer with no agitator, and 1 cubic foot capacity. Plus line drying (flats came out soft!) Hand washing Massive top loader with soft water. I've not had to adjust the quantity much either.

Re: Which one do you use??
I have a top loader and soft water. I used Planet liquid for quite a while and it worked really well for us.

Re: Which one do you use??
I use Allen's Naturally Powder with a top loader. I think our water is on the softer side.

Re: Which one do you use??
I have been using country save....seems to be doing a good job. I usually throw a scoop of oxy clean in there once in a while. we have a top loader.
also I used to use rockin green but, didnt seem worth the $. Country save is doing just as well. if not better for us. |

Re: Which one do you use??
We have a TLer, not really hard or soft water (in TX with lake water) and we LOVE Seventh Generation. It has no dyes, perfumes or brighteners - nothing extra. It is plant-based and I really like how my diapers smell like NOTHING, just clean, when they finish washing.
We also haven't had any problems with stink, stains, ammonia or build-up. It has been perfect for us.

Re: Which one do you use??
We have a fl, med. hard water, and use Charlie's Soap. 1/2 of the scoop. I spray all microfiber with non diluted Bac Out. I have used Country Save, and Bio
Kleen and much prefer Charlie's. I might try Allen's next.

Hmm okay. :-) wide variety listed so far. Has anyone used RnG in the past to compare it to?? I have tries using it and they still smell dirty after doing a prewash with 1 tbsp and a hot long wash with 4 Tbsp they still stink!! So I wanna see what other natural detergents might work better for me. :-)
