DH finally emailed the chair of the comity who apologized everything got pushed back due to the end of the school year and one member being on vacation.

He said we should know by tomorrow.....I'm so nervous.....I've already had a few emotional break downs over this....please pray

Seriously, we waited all day yesterday....and no call. I just wish they would give us a yes or a no, its been nearly 6 weeks since his interview. I know they are busy but i feel like they are just messing with us.

We never heard anything from them despite saying on their college information that the dean himself personally sends rejection letters to all final candidates. I just can't imagine how they could pay for my husband to come there, pay for his hotel, interview him and then not spend the five minutes it takes to let him know he didn't get the job. The college is now on Summer vacation, hubby said he will call mid July when they come back just to confirm its a no.

Please pray for my husband he is getting really depressed and with my pregnancy hormones I am crying every time i talk about our situation. His grandmother has asked us to move out and its pretty depressing how much rent is down here. 700 for studio, 800 for a one bedroom, and almost 1,000 for a 2 bedroom.

Praying for you. The Lord always provides. I have seen Him do it many times in my life. I am praying for your DH's job situation and your peace.

Will you get to leave work or reduce your hours if he gets the job?

Job market is very hard right now - what field is he in? And keep checking the listings... One year and adjuncting things trickle in. The money isn't great but better than nothing.

They are probably waiting until the person they hired signs a contract, I'm sorry mama, academia is really hard.
