Bleeding. update 04/30

So I have been put on bed rest. I started spotting Thursday morning so I called the doc. They made me an appt for Friday morning and told me to take it easy. I went in Friday told my doc about my bhs and that I was crampy with pain radiating through my lower back. He did the normal urine test a clean catch and a culture than sent me to get another ultrasound. Saturday things didn't change much. this morning we drove my ds to my moms so he could visit with his cousins, and I started having intense stabing pain through the area where my ovariesare on my right side(I know this due to having chronic ovarian cysts) and radiating through my back and hip.I also had more intense cramping.It was enough to make it hard to breath and bring tears to my eyes. I went to the bathroom and peed, I wiped and the to was bright red I looked down and there was a cloud of red along with a blood clot. I called the dr he said to call back if I have a temp and he would call back if he could get the results from my tests. He said there was nothing really he could do if I needed surgery and since the baby is moving and us seemed fine it probably could wait till Mon when he got the rest of the tests back.What really bothers me is that my mom had this with my SIS and i and almost lost us both. Am I being overly concerned? I know I wasn't being a weinie about the pain, as far as how uncomfortable I was when I called on Thursday it was a 2 and today it hit a 7 .(birth for me is 12)

Went to Dr. All tests came back clear. But they suspect placenta abruption. I am on bed rest till bleeding stops than I am to start slowly into a normal daily routine. If baby stops moving or bleeding restarts or becomes more severe i must call the Dr right away.
Trying to figure out how to get everything rearranged.parents leave this week for a two week vacation.Husband leaves for.a.week to pick up grandmas stuff from Arizona.and I have to make my way to pick her up from the airport on the 8th.I don't even have her room ready yet. Thank you everyone for your advise and prayers.This is a.very stressful time.

I would be very concerned...you are at a VERY delicate point in your pregnancy. I would go to the ER if I were in your shoes.

I would go to the ER if I were you. I have had an abruption and any bright red bleeding and I would be at the ER asap. Worse case they send you home but its better to have it checked IMHO

I would go in, too. It never hurts to be overly cautious! I had bright red bleeding about a week before my loss, still don't know why. keep us posted!

I had a placental abruption with my 2nd and I had bright red bleeding and clotting. I was already on bed rest in the hospital but they ended up delivering me that day. The MFM docs did tell me though that clotts are only concerning if they are bigger than a baseball and if the bleeding doesn't stop.

I would head to the ER to get checked out.
