The way the elantra is can be super annoying for 3 across or even 2 nevst to each other. I don't know how common it is, but they have a formed part of the seat that doesn't allow carseats to go too close to the door.

see the bump circled in red? That is the whole issue right there!!!

Oh wow. Now I see why you get so mad at your car! Looks like you have a lot of room if the seat wasn't so contoured like that!

I read on car-seat.org about radians and a keyfit working. I drive an 09 Elantra and there is no way we can trade in, so we are making do. We've started the buying process and I have gotten one Radian so far. Once we know the gender, I will be picking up a second Radian for my oldest DD to use until baby moves to the convertible (will be using a keyfit until then since I have smaller babies). Once baby moves to the Radian, we'll be getting a HBB for oldest, since she'll be well over 7 at that point.

keyfit and radian does work! Barely and it is a major pain and you have to REALLY be careful that the keyfit clicks in right

Ok update! I got 3 scenera in there! All with seatbelt install RF in the center RF behind passenger and FF behind the driver. We will eventually have to get a radian though because my DS is 39lbs and 42in tall

Scenera's only go to 40 lbs so he has NO play room in it. And are his shoulders still below the top harness slot?

He is just even with it...the seat will be replaced for sure in the next two weeks...thank goodness it's not our daily driver

Are they all independently installed? You can check this by installing the middle seat, then install the outboard seats, then take the middle seat out and check the outboard seats and make sure they don't move more than 1 inch at the belt path.
