Nope. But I also wouldn't pierce my 3 year old daughters, either. I am an equal opportunity NO mom.

DH did it as a teen, and regrets it now. Corporate America doesn't like earrings for men. He took them out 10 years ago, but you can still see the scar.

In that case I totally would. I would make sure he understands what will happen and go for it

Re: Would you let your 3yo SON....

obviously everyone has their varying opinion on piercings..
I've gone full circle from piercing my first girl's ears at 7 months old, to deciding no, it's something I'll do when they are old enough to decide on their own and have it done at a professional piercing parlor (which was pretty rough) so then I went back to get it done while they're young and can't remember!
My girls who had it done older were much more "traumatized" from the experience than the ones who had it done as babies and cried for 30 seconds then never had any issues afterwards.

So for me personally, I'd do it.

Re: Would you let your 3yo SON....

In your situation, yes, I would

In my own home, no.. but based on age only. If my DS1 or 2 wants it done in the future and understands the responsibility behind it, I'm all for it.

Re: Would you let your 3yo SON....

I would not pierce any child's ears at that age. I think they need to wait to they are able to take care of it but I would not be ok with my boy piercing his ears.
