Oh man Jess are my thighs jiggly. I used to bike everywhere in California and had brick legs. I miss that. I wish I could bicycle with a 3mo old.

I am already bringing a jar of PB, I may just buy bread and fruit at the convenience store there and pack lunches, eat at the parks. NOt really to save money per se, just because they will be too excited to eat anything anyway and won't appreciate any cultural eating event.

Chicago I would take the EL to the ethnic neighborhoods and eat there. Chinatown and Greektown being my favorites.

I hadn't thought of that Jen. We'd have to take cabs there, no way the kids could walk that far and we aren't especially close to the El at our hotel. Plus I'm a little nervous about taking more kids than I have hands on the subway, when they have never ridden on one before. But it's totally doable by cab. Although to be honest greek food and chinese food is the easiest thing to get here in Detroit. But there are other neighborhoods too.
