Grovia AIO...how absorbant is it? Good for overnight?

I currently use a large pf with two hemp doublers and a PUL cover as nighttime diapers for my daytime potty trained 2.5 yo. I'd love to get something else for her, as she's too big for the changing table now. I heard that Grovia AIOs make good trainers because they have stretchy sides so can pull up and down? True? Are they absorbent enough for all night?

Also, she's a side sleeper, so all the overnight cloth trainers I've tried leak because there's no absorbency in the stretchy sides. Pockets don't work either for the same reason. Do you think the AIOs would work better? TIA!

They are very absorbent, but I would not purchase them for a 2 1/2 year old because they run quite small. DS outgrew them at 2 years old and a fairly thin 28lbs.

Ooh, good to know! She's long and thin, but about 32 lbs. I guess I'll keep looking!

I agree, they do run small! Mine's only 10 months, 22 lbs, but his chunky thighs make them a tight fit already.

My 2yo wears one to bed. I put a sbish doubler in and no leaks and super trim! He is pretty small for his age though at only 25lbs, they fit great!

Re: Grovia AIO...how absorbant is it? Good for overnight?

I'm surprised to hear that they run small for some babes b/c my DD is chubby at 33 inches tall and 30 pounds. The GroVias still fit her well though with a little room to grow. I do have issues with absorbancy though. They leak, even just for naps and the stretchy sides can be an issue when it comes to absorbancy too.

So, I guess I found the opposite as what some have said but I still wouldn't have recommended them for overnight. Just for different reasons! That always seems to be the case with cloth though. It's so hard to know what will work until you try it but it's always nice to save yourself the trouble of trial and error. As much as possible anyway.
