poly pellets to make it washable. i stick with heavier weight fabrics(denim, cord, bottomweight stuff) and i actually prefer to make it so the weighted pouches are removeable bc they hold up better in the wash/dry without the extra weight in them

do the back layer as a serious of pockets. they can snap or velcro closed. then you can remove the weighted pouches for washing. i still wash the weighted pouches, just not inside the blanket
