Re: Weight gain

my midwife tells me my weight gain is ok, but is hard to see the numbers on the scale after working to lose 54 pounds! i am up 26 pounds, 28 weeks in. i'm hoping to keep it below 35 but still have a ways to go so... i will just continue to try to avoid the cookies and make good eating decisions, and my husband and i have been trying to go for more walks.

Re: Weight gain

I've finally caught up to my prepregnancy weight, and I think I'm just going to avoid the weight conversation for now on at the doc office. Pregnancy weight is "so different" and varies so much by various things water retention (and in my case I can not poop for 3 days, which is abnormal for me in general, that I can go down drasticly just from a BM.)

Yep, so I'm not talking about it anymore. *crosses arms* hahah, luckily mine hasn't brought it up, I'm the only one who ever does, but I officially gained back everything I lost in early pregnancy and all of it has been so recent that I'm so scared hahaha. But only 13 weeks lefT!

I gained 90ish with DS1. This time, same eating habits and routines, I've gained 10 over pre pregnancy weight. I lost 15 in 1st tri from sickness, so I've really gained 25 total.

Re: Weight gain

I lost weight again -3 under prepreg weight the last week. I've been feeling so terrible lately. Blegh. I have newly found horizontal stretch marks around my belly button though. all prior pregnancies have been vertical and on my side.

WEIRD!

Even though I've only gained three technically, I feel huge and exhausted. I did notice my old stretch marks actually shrinking/disappearing on my hips, which tells me I am probably (definitely) losing weight.

Baby's and all that go with them weigh close to 30 pounds at birth! So, nobody fall into a pit of despair about weight, because most of it literally comes flying off!

Re: Weight gain

at my 28w checkup I was up another 4lbs, so 19lbs overall. I'm officially heavier than I ever got with DS but I'm ok with it. I just don't want to go over 35 ...
