well I guess I just have a different philosophy of my birthdays and mothers day stuff. I married Jerry fully aware that he does not remember dates. so I set him up for success.
On my birthday I set out a cake mix and pan. He knows that he has to take care of it with MH. On Mother's Day they plant my pots and we have a nice meal that I usually cook but since it is a Sunday I don't mind cooking. I keep it simple and try to give him what he needs to be successful.

Everyone has their likes and dislikes.

Looking at it from a different point of view. If Jerry knew you wanted more and never gave it to you because he didn't want that for himself...that would be wrong.

With Heiner it's not about him not remembering. He remembers when my birthday is, He just doesn't care. He doesn't care about his own birthday. Difference is he knows I do care. He knows and chooses to do nothing about it. That hurts.

I told them that I had no phone line in my house and they said it was ok. Now I need a phone jack. Luckily my neighbors DH will do it for free

Right now I'm having to reconfigure my phone. It went doolally after the last update and lost it's internet ability.

Hopefully wiping it and setting up again from scratch will help.

Getting there with the phone...but it's taking ages!

The computer crapped out on me too...too hot. I have it up and running again with a fan on the back.
