biofreeze use during pregnancy
Is it safe? I'm in Miami for a funeral and my back is killing me. It hurts to walk. I still have to go to the funeral and fly home tomorrow, work the graduation ceremony Sunday, and then make it to the chiropractor Monday night. My aunt is recommending biofreeze. The active ingredient is menthol USP, so I figure it can't really be bad, but it does say to consult your physician if pregnant/nursing. I did send an email out to my midwife, but not sure how soon to expect a response. Any advice?

I used it with no issues. DH is a chiropractor and no issue with me using it.

Re: biofreeze use during pregnancy
I was given it at maternity fairs at hospitals, so I thought it was safe.

Re: biofreeze use during pregnancy
I think you are fine! I am a massage therapist and we use it at work all the time on pregnant ladies

I am 35 weeks and my chiropractor (who specializes in pregnant women and kids) uses it on me, so I am assuming it is safe. But I have never actually looked it up.

I think its a cover their butt thing. I was told it was fine by my gen practice DO and my chiro.
And RRL tea which i was told to take by my midwife says it too. Apologizing in advance for iPhone typos/autocorrect

Re: biofreeze use during pregnancy
That's what I figured, but wanted some other opinions. They put it on everything!! Midwives said it was fine, and it brings so much relief!! Chiropractor in less than an hour! Yay!!
