Just had my midwife appointment and she checked me because I'm 37 weeks...she said I'm 2 cm dilated and effaced! Pretty excited about that...maybe baby soon??

exciting! I almost want to do a check and see if anything is going on with my cervix

but I know even if there is that it will still probably be a couple more weeks for me!

Lol I tried to check mine because I have 24 days until my section. I can't reach because it's tilted!

I will be checked again on Wednesday, at 35wks I was 1cm, so we shall see where I'm at now(37wks here in a few days).

I keep wondering, but I wouldn't know even if I did check. lol! I was 1cm at 32 weeks. I have a Dr appointment tomorrow. Hoping that she'll check me.

I'm having lots of uncomfortable contractions today (seems the midwives were right about coming off bedrest...). It started last night when my body was emptying itself and has just continued to get stronger. But as I told DH, until I'm having to breathe through them for at least half an hour, I'm not getting excited. My cervix has moved forward quite a bit, but doesn't feel any shorter or wider.
