this is a very short time in a new baby's life....even the 1st 6 wks or so can be like this. It is normal and to establish a good supply, it is important as well. They spent 9 mo attached inside, so they need time to adjust to the outside. Even toddlers can understand and be flexible (my 1st 2 are 14 mo apart). At the age of under a week, your milk could still be working on coming in and it can take up to 1-2 wks to have it transition over fully from colostrum. Even nursing 24/7, my milk never comes in until day 5.
