Period "like" cramping

Hello Ladies,

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been experience cramping in the evening the past 2 days. Nothing extreme just mild cramping that feels exactly like when I was about to start my period. I have read this is completely normal, there is no spotting or anything else going on. Well other than a touch of nausea...

Anybody else experience this or anything to put my mind at ease

Thanks

Yes, all 3 times. Still freaks me out each time! I just try to rest with my feet up and drink some cool water.

I always have that. I'm sorry, it is totally scary but for what it's worth I've never had a miscarriage.

I had it too, cramping and spotting with all of my five pregnancies. Only one of them (#3) ended up being a blighted ovum (and my body still hadn't realized it a month later, so the cramping and spotting for that one had nothing to do with it being an eventual miscarriage). The other four were totally normal and healthy pregnancies... but it freaked me out too, every time. Hang in there mama, my cramping usually tapered off and ended completely around week 10-12.

ETA: My midwife this time told me it's actually a GOOD sign. It's your uterus stretching, which means the pregnancy is viable and growing. No cramping at all might mean things aren't progressing. Spotting is just normal for some people too-- I know by now that it is for me, I must just have a friable cervix because I spot intermittently with every baby until I hit about 14 weeks.
