I want to knit one for DD too. Im modifying it though for a fuller skirt and more fancy waist band. i will have to look though my stash on what yarn I can use.

I finished the fiesta ivyanna. Its been a long time since I have knit with superwash so I forgot that after blocking it grows. I knit 20" shoulder to hem length but now it is 22". The chest measurements also increased. DD can still wear it but it is slightly bigger. I wanted it to fit perfect for this summer.

Re: KAL ~ cables! May 6-12

cute hat.

love the ivyannas sorry Mattie ..I found w/the superwash I tended to knit it looser for some reason and I just sort of tried to get it to stay put (size wise) when I blocked it, Luckily it worked out for me. I t looks fabulous and the CW behaved so nicely.

I'll finish my cables this week..so I guess that counts. Off to work for me today.

I love hot the aviatrix hat turned out!

The ivy anna is super cute. That sucks that it grew in you.

I'm hoping to finish up the skirt part of my jungle gym romper today. I got about half way through the increases the other day but the colorway isn't cooperating. I'm hoping switching needles will be enough.

After that I was planning on CO a pair of Bella mitts for me. I'm hoping they are a quick knit and I can get them done before Katies yarn shows up.

I was low on trim so I didn't do the decorative stitching with it, and I did half the icord with trim and half with cw

stitching, witching, brewing, dyeing, spinning
That's cute.

It's beautiful Mattie. As always.

We're being lazy dogs this morning. We all slept until 9:30 which is late for us. I'm about to drink my coffee and start on my to do list.

Would trying to sell used clothes be worth it here?
I'm going to purge all of our clothes today and will have tons.

I'm almost to the short rows of the sleeper and I'm going to try the German short rows.

10 am I just got out of the shower and everyone is still asleep. I hear em screaming hopefully that will get ben up.

My sister and family is still in town so we will be heading out to my parents in a bit. Ben thinks she's having a boy (William Douglas). I think he's hoping for boy so we can dump all of our old clothes on her. However I reminded him we have tons of girl clothes too if baby is a girl she'll be named Charlotte Anne.

Need to finish Sonya's bathmits today.

Re: KAL ~ cables! May 6-12

So I have a confession. I am scared of knitting a soaker. I never have and it looks intimidating. But I just had someone ask for a skirty and it has to have a soaker underneath so I need to be able to do this! Pattern rec's please.
