They are one of a kind, no kimono is the same. There are other colors and designs like pinks and blue and hearts details but I chose to go with Japanese designs and colors. The fabric is what would be usually used for weddings. Murasaki or purple is reserved for the nobility in traditional Japan. I think even now, imperial protocol does not allow guests having an audience with the emperor to have any purple in their clothes. I actually asked the maker if it is possible for a matching child size for DD but she said it is hard to find fabric that match it and her instock fabrics is not enough for child and doll sizes. A kimono is one-size but if a child size is made, it will fit for a long time.

Sooooo pretty! There is a dress maker here locally who uses vintage kimono for wedding dresses. They are amazing. I can't wait to see what you will do with that kimono
