Priority flat rate box question
I'm shipping newborn prefolds in the morning. I have a box and was going to do parcel post. It seems if I do a medium flat rate box it would be a little cheaper and I can do it online. It looks like I can't do parcel online unless i'm missing something. I've never shipped flat rate so I don't have the boxes at home. Can I print the label and pay online and get the box at the PO and ship then? Or do I have to do it all at once. I know this is probably a silly question...I have no clue though. I'm trying to make it a quick trip since I have a toddler and newborn

Re: Priority flat rate box question
You can do parcel if you ship via PayPal AND know the weight. Otherwise, yes, you can print the label and take it/tape with you to the PO for a box (print it through PayPal or usps also for free dc)

You might want to make sure the prefolds will fit in a MFRB before printing.

Re: Priority flat rate box question

Re: Priority flat rate box question
Thank you! I wound up printing label for a medium flat rate box. It seems to be a little cheaper. I was originally just trying to fig out the parcel postage thru the usps website. I guess that's why it wasn't working. The dimensions of the FR box are identical to the box I was going to use so it will definitlely work. I'm only shipping a dozen.

Re: Priority flat rate box question
On the USPS site, it will only show the Express and Priority rates at first. You have to click *other shipping options* right below the Priority rates to see Parcel, First Class, etc.

Re: Priority flat rate box question
Thank you! I'm pretty sure I did that, it said unavailable under online. When I went thru pp though it worked. It turned out that the medium flat rate was about $1 less.
