Accountability - To Do List Thread:

Alright ladies! It is time to start a to-do list! I'm 31 weeks and I'm starting to feel the crunch of what needs to be done prior to the arrival of Brayden!

So, make your list.. And then come back to your original list and cross off or highlight or whatever, the items you finish.. and we can cheer each other on as we finish things.. And maybe remember certain things that need done

Re: Accountability - To Do List Thread:

On our to-do list:
- Get quilts done (the one I'm making and her ladybug quilt that G-ma needs to work on when she gets back from Europe)
- Schedule and go on tour of the hospital (for DH since I work at the hospital I'm delivering at) done
- Practice the hypnobirthing more (been a little lax on that lately)sort of being done
- Set up the cosleeper
- Get the windows sealed and the opening where the birds come into the attic closed off (they got past DH's temporary fix)
- Plant the rest of the veggies and herbs in the garden done
- Get the weeding done so we can lay fresh bark dust
- DH needs to get the excess dirt from his project hauled awaydone
- Stalk Craigslist for a snap and go (Thinking I may not bother getting the fancy stroller right away since I'll have to buy a $50 attachment to use a Chicco seat with a Britax stroller). So bummed that I missed out on one listed at $15! done
- Figure out if my washing machine will go from the soak/prerinse cycle on it's own to the wash cycle or if we have to restart the machine. Hoping it's the latter because I can't specify the wash to be hot and the prerinse to be warm without changing the dial between each of those rounds. done

Re: Accountability - To Do List Thread:

Done! - finish sewing the small fitted diapers I have cut out
Done! Decided I am happy with what I have! Too much work to make a new one and too expensive to buy one! - sew or find a new diaper bag that can accommodate two in diapers
Done! - finish planting the garden
Done! I made very detailed lists on the chores and have been having the boys help every day. - teach the children how to take over farm chores temporarily after baby gets here
2 of 3 done! - sew of find some nursing nightgowns, at least three, and throw away the old ratty ones after birth (hoping to use one as a birth gown as not to ruin my new ones)
- bring mattress upstairs for sleeping after baby comes until I can do stairs again
Done!- finish de-cluttering the clothes and donate to goodwill or toss what we dont need
Done!- clean the garage so at least one of the bays is usable
- make freezer meals
Done!- finish the homeschooling by mid June
Done!- wash and lanolize woollies
Done! I have 5 pairs of shorties and 5 longies that ought to do.- knit some more shorties and longies if I have time

That is all I can think of right now

Re: Accountability - To Do List Thread:

This will be good for me. I started crying last night because I was so overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done in my house. Not necessarily just before the baby but in general.

-Swap out everyones winter clothes for summer clothes and different sizes and pare down the amount we have.
-Declutter toys, try to get rid of half
-Sell a couple double strollers and then get one I really like.
-Order birth kit and birth pool
-Plant flowers in planters around the house. Have 7 I can think of right now
-Plant veggie garden
-Deep clean and declutter my bedroom
-Train kids to do more chores
-Clean up carseat and bouncers
-Make some freezer meals
-Weed the flower beds.

There are a lot more to add to this. I'll have to keep thinking about it.

At times I feel like immobilized. It's like I have so much to do but I don't know where to start and I get so upset and stressed so I know the feeling. Since today is laundry day I'm going to try to clean up some of the baby items and finish washing baby clothes.
