So glad I'm not the only one who is miserable. DH is shocked at how bad it is because I was fine with DS 5 years ago. I'm having a hard time working full time (but I have no choice so I suck it up and deal).

My first appointment with my midwife is Friday, but I am guessing I am about 9 weeks along. I'm already showing though, which shocks me because I didn't show with DS until 15 or so weeks, and even then, I fit into my pants fine. Right now everything's snug. I need to buy maternity pants.

My current plans are: survive the first trimester!!!

I am shocked at how good I have been feeling. DD is 5 mos and I was sick my entire pregnancy with her. I'm just super tired mostly and definitely feel like I'm showing my next appt is day after memorial day to hear the heartbeat.. Too far away!!! I hope you mamas feel better soon. First tri is miserable

Yay blood work is done. The lab had no one in it so I got in and out super quick which was awesome. I am feeling nauseous though. My dh is having people over tonight for a bachelor party for a friend of ours. Hopefully they keep the noise down. They are going to play video games and drink lol nerds.

I've been sooo tired. My BFF is a single, carless mom of three, so once a month I take her grocery shopping so she can go to the cheap store and get everything she needs. That's what I did today. I left my 3y/o DS with another friend, so I just had my little girls (1 and 2), and BFF had her 1 and 3 y/o. Took us two hours, and let me tell you, half way through I was DONE. Exhausted, sick, and dizzy. Let's just say I'm happy to be home!

I need to schedule my first appointment, but did lab work last Thursday when I took DD2 to her speech therapy. Dumb lady REALLY hurt me, couldn't bend my arm for hours and still have a bruise. I've had hundreds of blood draws and this is the first time I've ever been hurt like that.

Sorry all you mamas are feeling bad Im good so far. Really sleepy and sore boobs but man I love how big they're getting lol We went on vacation these past wkend(fri-just got home lol) Only bad part was I lost my fav shorts along the way...I really dont want to go shopping-I hate! it anyhow but going shopping knowing my waist will be expanding shortly just really doesnt sound like a good time...Oh well it's reg. in the 90s now and now Im down to 2 pair of shorts-not cool lol I did notice my pants feeling looser though...gonna weigh myself in the morning to see if Ive lost any weight. Not like I dont have a little cushion or anything lol just wanna know. This nothing sounds good, everything taste wierd thing is so odd. This is a 1st.

Mondays are our run around days and we tend to do all our errands, appointments, and grocery shopping on Mondays since DH is off. I couldn't grocery shop today- the only thing I bought was cereal and oranges, because NOTHING sounds good and I could not think about dinner without getting sick to my stomach. It has also been so unseasonably hot here which is making the no appetite thing worse. We don't have air conditioning in the house we are renting so there is no relief from the almost 90 degree heat. Thankfully, it should be cooling down this week. We are moving into our new house that we are building at the end of the month. So thankful we will be in our new house, with air conditioning, before the summer really starts. We stopped by there today and the trim, doors, and all the counter tops and cabinets had been installed today. We are getting so close!

I had my first terrible morning at work. I was crabby and felt terrible. I almost went home sick since I had no meetings, but I figured I'd better suck it up and deal with it. After lunch I felt a lot better.

Scarlett's mommy, I used to have a "thing" for needles... but I don't anticipate ANY problems with my labwork next week. Three weeks on hospital bedrest, with 4-5 lab draws a day, will cure one of any needle issues REAL quick. LOL. Glad you have that behind you now.

psylion, for the scary choking. Hope you are doing okay now.

shasta, awww you have a sweet DH eating the hot soup after that hot day.

lensesforeyes, sorry you had a bummer of a lab draw. I bruised awful one time and it's b/c the person taking my blood went all the way THROUGH my tiny vein instead of just into it.

Emmers, so glad you'll be getting some a/c before the summer. I am in Texas and can't imagine no a/c. I've even needed it in November before, lol.

AFM, my m/s has gotten slightly worse with each pregnancy, so I called my primary and asked her to hook me up with some Zofran this time. I'm only 6 weeks but pretty sure that it's going to get way worse before it starts getting better. I took my first one today just before my nap b/c I was feeling a little yucky, and woke up 90 minutes later still feeling yucky, so I am not impressed so far. :/ I've heard of others taking it and it's this super-fantastic can't-live-without-it miracle drug for them, but my early results are making me feel like it's not going to do anything for me. :/

Meanwhile, though, I am absolutely EXHAUSTED all the time. This does not bode well for my to-do list. I'm going to be a vendor at our area LLL conference in June, and going to move the week after that. I have THINGS to do before then! And those things are sitting around just letting me stare at them, lol.

I'm not really showing yet since I still had about 10 pounds of padding from DS (DS1, not the DS2 that I just had in November. I lost all of THAT weight that I'd gained).

I live in central Indiana as well and don't have central air either. this weather is driving me crazy. Dh acyually put a window air conditioner in yestarday but it's not working to well.
That's exciting about your new house though.

I live really close to Indianapolis (like on the south side). We have window units for the house we are renting (2 for a 1600 sq ft house), but since we are moving at the beginning of next month we are not going through the trouble of putting them in because there will probably be no one moving in after us and we don't want to leave the work for the owner. They are older and let us rent the house that belonged to his mother (it has been empty for years) since he was good friends with DH's grandfather before he died and knows DH's family well, but has no intentions of renting it out to anyone else.
