I dry on a drying rack over the heat vent with a fan. If it's summer then I dry outside.

Some people that have the front loading dryers have racks they use to lay it on and dry it that way.

I haven't done any dyeing this week, or spinning, since dh is gone for work and my family has been having some issues back home. But I have been knitting my own colorway, Flower Child, and I love the way it looks knit up!

Thanks! I think there is just enough natural wool color in there to balance the psychedelic colors lol! But I am really happy with the rotations, which is nice, since I have altered my rotations method twice in the past few months. I think I have finally found a formula I am happy with.

NO! Don't start dyeing - a) it's addictive and can get expensive and b) who would I collaborate with if you start dyeing?! Hahaha! J/K of course! Dyeing is really fun!

That's a good idea too (the fan). I have a big box fan I should put it out in my bathroom where I dry the rest of my yarn...I always dry outside when it's nice enough to - the dyeing I did today is almost 3/4 dry and it's only been out there an hour or two already. It's starting to look cloudy though, so I may have to bring it in soon. Don't want it to get rained on while I'm trying to dry it - kinda counter productive....haha!

I need another swift - I'm impatient for it too. You happen to have a cheapo plastic swift sitting around you wanna sell? Anyone for that matter?

This was my 1st one yesterday. I forgot that I had dyes left in my bottles, so just decided to empty what was in there onto yarn! The base is a mystery, it was sold to me as cestari, but it isn't, thicker than that.
My 16 yr old calls this Oscar the Grouch. Yeah, I don't know how her brain works!

And this is my favorite that I have done to date! Love the colors and can't wait to knit something for Tristan. I don't care for the trim that I dyed, so I think I will dye another color and go with one of the blues in the colorway.
My 18 yr old named this one Indian Cuisine! LOL Kids!

Now off to finish dinner!
Love them all, greens are so bright!
