I am thinking very seriously about trying to open my own eBay store or at least sell more. Can you all give me some tips? A quick list of good selling items? I'm trying to read through this thread but it is LONG!
Thanks in advance!

Re: does anyone have a sucessful Ebay store?

So I had a silk/cashmere brooks brothers sweater for sale for $20. It was on its last day, I'd gotten an offer for $13 a few days back that I refused. Well a buyer today best offered me $20. I have no clue why they didn't just do buy it now. They only had 3 FB and they paid only 2 hours after I accepted so hopefully they will be okay.

I'd suggest reading this thread and then I'd suggest selling a few things around your house to get the hang of it. That's basically what I did.

Oh that makes perfect sense... I half expected that the buyer had really meant to type $2.00 or some insanely low offer and then would want to cancel the transaction. Hopefully they won't turn into a PITA buyer; I've actually had good luck with low feedback people thus far so fingers crossed I guess.

Anyone else do well with Halloween costumes? I pretty much only sell at Halloween (Sept and Oct) and then again for Christmas (mid Nov.-mid Dec.). I have a great stock of costumes this year and as I"m getting ready to list them, I'm excited!!

Have you sold Organic Halloween costumes? I have an organic pumpkin 2T/4T costume and I wasn't sure what to list it for as there really don't seem to be ones on Ebay.
