Am I ovulating?

My miscarriage was almost three weeks ago (three weeks ago this Wednesday). This morning I woke up to a LOT of white, thick mucous, and some mild twinges in my right ovary area. I have a history of ovarian cysts, and I've always thought every month that I was ovulating, but I don't recall ever having this mucous.

Could I be ovulating? I also have some mild tummy upset, and some bowel movements that are not quite normal for me. They are fairly soft, and foul smelling (sorry for the TMI). Could this be related to ovulation?

I'm thinking that maybe my miscarriage helped to regulate my hormones and get things back on track. What do you ladies think?

You might be ovulating. I don't think the BM's have anything to do with ovulating. I think since it was a early miscarriage, once you levels went back down to 0 typically 2 weeks later you can ovulate. My first month after mine(8weeks) I had a 50 day cycle and didn't ovulate.
Also fertile mucus is more clear, egg-whites.. not really thick its stretchy.

My normal cycles are 33 to 44 days, on average. So right now would be about the time I should be ovulating anyway. I guess all of the times in the past when I THOUGHT I was ovulating, I don't think I was. Which is why it took us over 4 years to get pregnant.

Are you charting? Fertile mucous is stretchy between fingers, no break.

No, I'm not charting. I never have... I'm not even quite sure how to do all of that, to be honest. I'm not quite (emotionally) ready to get pregnant again right now, so if I am ovulating, we're just going to have to stay away from eachother for a few days, lol. This mucous was definitely stretchy... no breaking at all.

Actually the BM could be related. Your metabolism speeds up when you're ovulating as body temperature rises, so BMs can change because of that. Sounds like you are to me!

This. I have IBS (the constipation kind) and get terrible attacks during ovulation and my period. Major nausea (debilitating kind), serious bathroom issues, etc. So the bathroom stuff could just be "you" if that makes sense.

It does sound like you're ovulating. I'd check out fertility friend, as mentioned, as you can chart to avoid or conceive.

I'm sorry for your loss and I pray for healing for you mama.
