breastfeeding at the dmv
recently i had to have my license renewed and they wouldnt let me do it online. well 2 hours into our wait ds was hungry. i had to pretend i was in a room alone but i managed. i had no cover because it was soo hot in there but i did have a loose shirt and a milk daze tank. i really wonder if anyone had much of a clue since two teenage boys came to sit right beside me! lol

Re: breastfeeding at the dmv
It is times like those when you realize breastfeeding in public is really no big deal. The less you cover up with and stay discreet with the clothes you have on the best, IMO. Big ol' blankets and those nursing covers draw attention to yourself. I'm glad it worked out well for you!

Re: breastfeeding at the dmv
Good for you mama! I have had to get over my "fear" if you will of breastfeeding in public or DS2 would never get fed as my father had a traumatic medical scare 2 weeks before DS was born... and was still in the hospital for 2 weeks after... and then couldn't drive so I was taking him to his doctor appointments.
What I am getting at is I have never had a rude comment or anything and if I did I'd pretty much shrug it off - babies need to eat! <3
