OK! Coffee pot descaled.

Mel and I don't have to be anywhere until 9 today so a lazy morning ahead. I am going back to bed for a while with my nook and my fresh coffee.

Pot is running like new. Descale prossess was easy and I am really glad I did it.

YAY for quiet mornings.

I've just finished my tests at the hospital. Now I'm on my way to pick up Shannon, then we're off to town to get my sunglasses and some dinner or an ice cream.

Yay for quiet mornings indeed! Just got out of the shower. Now I need to decide what I am wearing to these meetings today. Not that the people there will likely ever see me again, but still...

Walked the boy to school, did some networking with Ms Giordano, the lesbian teacher who frequently gets asked if she is Ezra's mom. Went to get the oil changed. Went to the grocery store for foodstuffs for tomorrow's cleanup day. Wnt to the secondhand store and got some summery clothes for me. Now I am making myself something to eat!

We're home.

It all took longer than we thought. First off we had to stop and have coffee with Shannon's friend's parents while the kids played a bit longer. They offered to give Fynn their tractor peddle car with trailer. They were going to throw it out if we didn't take it.

Then the opticians took longer because we ended up getting Derry some sunglasses and Shannon too. Then they wanted boxes for their glasses.....then they saw cuddly bears and wanted them too.

So now we have 7 boxes for glasses and 3 bears.

On to get an ice cream and finally home.

The sunglasses....after years of having none I finally have some sunglasses

It's SOOOOOOOO HOT!

30°C today....tomorrow it's going to drop to about 15-16°C
