Daily Exercise 5/11/12-5/18/12
Slept in this morning and I needed it. I'll get some strength training in later this afternoon. I had gotten a new workout DVD (Jackie Warner) in a few days ago but haven't checked it out yet. Might fast forward thru it this morning to see if it's a do-able workout with my boot on. I'll have to modify the cardio stuff I'm sure.

5 mile friday. My dh is supposed to meet me at home and do 3 of the 5 with me. The last 2 times we planned to run together he "forgot" or "something came up". This is his last chance. I prefer to run right after work.

Rest day today. My piriformis muscle is still feeling a little sore so I don't want to push it because I am suppose to be running a 5k next Friday night.
ETA: DH came home with 300lbs in plates to add to our home gym and I helped him carry all the plates in and down a flight a stairs. So I guess I got a little bit of a workout in today. Lol

Thought I was going to rest yesterday, but was able to fit in a 3 mile run and 30 min bike.
My In Laws are living with us until they move into their new house- my mother in law decided to do the cooking last night so I took full advantage of the extra time while my daughter played with the neighbor

My piriformis muscle is still hurting so no run again today. I am suppose to run with the RRC tomorrow but I think I am going to only do 3 miles instead of the 5-6, just to see how I am feeling.
I am getting ready to hit the weights. I am doing arms & upper back today. This is one of my favorite days because my biceps is where I am seeing the most change.

great job on the arm definition though! Hubby commented last night about how muscles are starting to show on mine. That was cool!

I ran 6 miles today. Felt pretty good other then a little tightness and a tad bit of soreness near the end of my run. I am going to continue to do my stretches daily and hope to keep seeing improvement. I really want to add another day a week of running but am afraid right now since I still have some soreness going on.

Tried out a new DVD. Jackie Warner time saver or something like that. It was a GOOD workout! I got frustrated several times because I had a hard time with some of the leg stuff due to this stupid boot but my heart was def elevated and I burned 210 in 30 minutes with no jumping around.
