My cheap pockets (alvas) have held up, but my thirsties cover delaminated. Anybody could have a bad batch. I really hope that she will do something like pp suggested and let you show her via YouTube or Skype. ((hugs))

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
I used sunbabies for a while- I bought 6 off FSOT and 6 more through a co-op. I always hang diapers to dry and even though I use flip organic inserts the sunbabies leaked every time! I think the PUL needs to be sealed in the dryer and maybe that is why they didn't work for me but I don't put anything with elastic in the dryer.

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
It can't hurt to try now, so I'll put them in the dryer. We will still use them at home because we have to.. I have offered to send pictures and a video, she was not interested. She finally replied she will not be replacing or refunding me at all, and she hopes I understand. But, no, I don't understand. Im PO'ed. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
I would say that 7 months is a very long time to have been using them, from the stand point of the seller. It really sucks they aren't working for you anymore, but unless it says somewhere on her site that she guarantees them for X amount of time, probably not a whole lot you can do about it. If it was a few weeks you've had them, I would hope she would replace them. In 7 months though, as a seller, it would be very hard to know what people are doing to your products etc, and to replace diapers for everyone months after they got them, would be really costly. But I would agree that I have heard of even good brands having similar things happens, so I wouldn't blame just the cheapness of them. Sometimes there is just bad PUL.

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
I wouldn't expect to pay $5 or however much a Sunbaby costs, use it for 7 months, and then expect a refund when it fails.
If you want a warranty like that, you are going to pay premium prices. On any consumer goods.

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
I really despise Sunbaby. And will never buy them. A bunch delaminated on me, too. I guess you get what you pay for. Sorry that this has happened to you!

Otherwise I didn't have any problems with dryers. As far as the idea that diapers shouldn't be expected to last more than 7 months... I have a big issue with this. Many diapers, like sunbabies, are one-size so by nature they are supposed to last a child through multiple sizes. As far as I'm concerned, when I buy a diaper that is one-sized I expect it to last until my child grows out of it with reasonable care. I can see how a seller wouldn't want to replace or refund after 7 months, but it should definitely be lasting much longer than that, in my not so humble opinion. ![]()

Re: Sunbaby, bad experience.
Oh, and you can get the waterproofing spray in the camping section of walmart or target or sporting goods stores. I used it on some AIOs before and also use it on my cowboy boots.

I agree with the others, you get what you pay for. $5 pockets are going to perform like $5 pocket. *shrug*
