Re: New to diaperswappers

Welcome and congrats! Have you decided what kind of diapers you're going to use yet?

Re: New to diaperswappers

I'm planning on mostly fitteds for newborn. Then pockets aio once she can fit in them better. I know flats and prefolds aren't for me. Any advice would be awesome I'm excited and nervous about it all.

Re: New to diaperswappers

Congrats and welcome! What is your due date? I'm due on the 4th.

I'm also planning on fitteds for the nb stage but I also mix in prefolds to the mix. Have you decided on covers yet? If you're not doing wool, I like the covers with the leg gussets the best, especially if you're going to be nursing. That bf poo gets alll over but with a leg gusset, the covers seem to do a pretty darn good job of keeping it all in. I prefer Proraps covers for the nb stage. Extra sturdy and cheap to boot.

Have you decided on a name yet?

Yay! Welcome! I know how overwhelming it is when you open the door with CDing. Pretty soon you'll start reading about an entirely different lifestyle in all areas!

When is baby due?!

Re: New to diaperswappers

Our baby girl Copelynn is due oct 4th also Kelly! I'm bf too so yes I'm using covers I bought a couple of thirsties I hope they are gonna work good! I'm nervous about cd the newborn stage! Mostly because my newborn stash is small because my babies usually gain weight fast and I don't wanna spend money on just a few weeks! So I feel slightly unprepared
